HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 3/4 c. HOT water

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir in the milk and shortening. Blend in the nuts. Spread batter in a 9-inch square pan.

Combine brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa in small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter. Pour hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 9 servings.
