CHEESE AND HAM CADETS 
1 doz. Cadet buns (or sm. hamburger buns)
1/2 c. diced onion (optional)
12 American cheese slices
3/4 lb. shaved ham
1/4 c. poppy seeds
Mustard
Butter (oleo butter)

Spread butter on each Cadet bun (bottom half). Spread on a little mustard and sprinkle on some poppy seeds. Sprinkle some of the diced onions on each bun. Next, place a few slices of shaved ham and 1 slice of cheese on the bun. Wrap all of the buns in tin foil (baker's fold) and bake at 250 degrees until melty.
