PEDOLINO (ITALIAN COOKIES) | |
6 eggs, well beaten 2 c. sugar 1 c. oil 6 c. flour 6 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. flavoring (anise) Mix eggs, sugar and oil together until well blended. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Chill dough. Shape into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. When cool, frost with thin icing flavored with anise extract. Make thin icing. Mix confectioners' sugar with milk and anise extract. After frosting cookies sprinkle with colorful decorations. |
