BROCCOLI SPECIAL 
2 lbs. fresh broccoli
1 stick butter
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. salt
6 hard-boiled eggs
6 oz. grated American cheese

Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Steam broccoli until tender-crisp. Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour. Add milk gradually. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add mayonnaise and salt; blend well. Stir in eggs. Place 1/3 of the broccoli in 3-quart casserole. Add layer of sauce and layer of cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
