LAYERED DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
2/3 c. pecans, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 carton thawed dessert topping
2 sm. pkgs. chocolate flavored instant pudding mix
3 c. milk

Combine flour, butter and pecans. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add half the carton of whipped topping. Spread mixture over cooled crust. Whip pudding mix with milk until thickened. Pour pudding over cream cheese filling layer. Spread remainder of thawed frozen whipped topping over the top. Refrigerate until serving time. (May shave a chocolate bar over top, or finely chopped pecans.)
