FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1. 1 1/2 c. sugar
2. 2 c. flour
3. 2 tsp. baking soda
4. 2 eggs
5. 1 can fruit cocktail
6. 1 tsp. salt
1 cube butter
1 sm. can milk
1/2 c. pineapple, drain
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts

Beat first 6 ingredients for 2 minutes with mixer and pour into 9 x 13 inch baking pan, greased and floured. Sprinkle on top 1/2-1 cup brown sugar and 3/4 to 1 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Melt butter in small saucepan, add canned milk and pineapple. After cake is baked, pour buttered pineapple mixture over cake.
