RANCH STYLE BEANS 
2 lb. bacon
3 bottles catsup
2 tbsp. chili powder
6 lg. onions, chopped
7 lb. pinto beans
1 lg. can tomato juice
1/2 c. salt

Wash and soak beans overnight. In morning drain, cover with cold water and cook 25 minutes. Add water as needed. Mix all other ingredients, pour over beans and cook 10 minutes. Fill sterilized jars, leaving 1 1/2 inch at top. Process quarts 1 hour at 10 pound pressure. Makes 16 quarts.
