VIDALIA ONION PIE 
3 Vidalias thinly sliced
2 tbsp. melted butter
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dill, celery seed or basil
1 (9") pie shell, baked
Crisp bacon, crumbled

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Saute onions in butter until clear. Combine eggs, sour cream and spices over low heat to blend well, then add to cooled onions. Pour into baked pie crust. Top with crumbled bacon. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then 300 degrees until crust is light brown.
