This is really good. I made it for Easter. I took out the mustard and the cherries and it still came out great. It was sweet but not too sweet. Great recipe!

Mustard? Do you mean powdered mustard or the prepared mustard?

I have been making this glaze for my hams for years. It is loved by all of my family and friends. They all can't wait for an invitation. Please use regular prepared mustard for your glaze, powdered mustard does not have the same flavour and you need the mustardy vinegar to make an actual glaze. You might also try adding a teaspoon of cloves, and cinnamon to your taste it seems to bring all the flavours together and take them to new heights. Good Luck!!

Dry mustard is the same as powdered mustard. When mixed with sweet it will take on a tangy taste. Excellent just the way it's written.

Excellent. Not a "sweets" person, but what else can you do with a yummy ham slice besides dijon? It's pretty, made as directed, tastes great.

I am using this recipe. My ham came with a packet of glaze and I'm so glad I read the ingredients for the packaged glaze as it's #1 ingredient was High Fructose Corn Syrup... which I will not knowingly use in any recipe or for any food I serve. I love the pineapple flavor with ham... I knew I could make my own. Thanks for the recipe!
