“ORANGE HAM GLAZE” IS IN:

ORANGE HAM GLAZE
For a thicker glaze or to make ahead, bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Refrigerate until ready to use.

1 (7 oz) bottle Sprite or other lemon-lime soda
1 (1 lb) jar orange marmalade
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 (11 oz) can Mandarin orange sections or pineapple slices, drained
maraschino cherries (optional)

In a blender, combine soda and marmalade or stir well until blended. Add brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves.

Begin baking ham according to directions. Forty minutes before ham has finished baking, begin spooning mixture over ham every 10 minutes.

When ham has finished baking, garnish with mandarin orange sections or pineapple slices and cherries.

For an apricot glaze, substitute 1 (12 oz) jar of apricot preserves for orange marmalade and omit mandarin oranges.

For a pineapple glaze, use 1 1/2 cups pineapple instead.

Heated whole spiced apricots, oranges or pineapple slices may be used to garnish the serving dish.

Loved this glaze!! I'm allergic to pineapple so many of the recipes ask for this fruit. Tried this orange glaze with Sprite Zero and the lower sugar version of the Smuckers Orange marmalade and it worked out perfect. Huge success! Thanks.
