GRANDMOTHER'S DESSERT ROLLS 
2 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, milk and oil. Stir until dough clings together; knead on floured surface 10-12 times. Roll out dough; cut into eight 4 inch squares. Combine sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Place 1 tablespoon mixture in center of each square and bring up corners and seal edges to within 1 inch of top. Fold back points to make an opening in the top. Place in greased 11 x 7 inch pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with sauce.

MILK SAUCE:

1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt. Gradually add milk and stir until smooth; add butter. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
