STUFFED BURGERS 
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. dried basil, thyme, sage, or oregano
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1/4 c. chopped mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, onion, cheese

In mixing bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, milk, basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add meat and mix well. Shape meat mixture into 8 (1/4 inch thick) patties. Place about 2 tablespoons of vegetables or cheese on top of four patties. Spread to within a 1/2 inch of edges.

Top with remaining patties. Press meat around edges to seal. Place on broiler pan. Broil 3 minutes from heat for 15-18 minutes until no pink remains, turning once.
