ITALIAN PEA CASSEROLE 
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 (17 oz.) can peas
1 (4 oz.) can or jar mushrooms
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. basil
3 slices bacon, cooked crisp

Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle chopped garlic over bottom. Add drained peas, mushrooms, and tomato sauce. Sprinkle basil over top. Cover with crumbled crisp bacon. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serves 4-5.
