PEAS ITALIAN 
2 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
6 strips bacon, fried crisp

Warm butter and olive oil in a pan on medium heat until butter has melted. Add garlic and saute until transparent (do not brown). Remove pan from heat and place aside. Cook frozen peas until tender-crisp. Drain off excess water and toss peas with garlic butter mixture until well blended. Crumble crisp bacon on top and serve. These peas are good room temperature or chilled.
