GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 med. potatoes
6 slices bacon
2 onions, diced
1/3 c. vinegar
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. celery seed

Boil potatoes in skins. Peel off skin after cooked. Slice. Set aside. Fry bacon, remove and drain. Cook onions in bacon grease until light brown. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, pepper and celery seed. Stir until bubbly. Then add water and vinegar. Stir until thick. Add potatoes; mix well. Serve then or wait. It is better after being cooled then heated up again. Serves 4-5.
