BEEF BURGUNDY | |
2 lbs. beef stew or round steak Put in bag with flour and shake. 3 cloves garlic 1 c. beef consomme 1 c. burgundy wine 3 whole cloves Dash thyme 1 bay leaf, crumbled Cook bacon. Brown meat in bacon drippings. Add consomme and wine and spices. Simmer until tender. Add 2 cups sliced carrots and 1 package frozen peas. |
