QUICK CHILI - MICROWAVE 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder

In a plastic colander combine onions and ground beef, place colander in a glass pie plate to catch grease. Micro 4-5 minutes on high. Carefully place mixture in serving container. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, salt and chili powder. Micro 10-12 minutes at 70% power, stirring several times. Serves 4-5.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
