FRENCH SILK PIE 
CRUST:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. quick Quaker oats
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
3 tsp. milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients, add oatmeal and nuts. Mix well with oil and milk. Press crust into pie pan with fork. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Melt chocolate squares and cool. Cream butter and sugar; add gradually. Blend in and beat in chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 to 5 minutes for each egg. Fold in half of whipped cream. Garnish with the rest. Can freeze pie or refrigerate.
