SAVORY STEW FOR THIRTY 
6 1/2 lbs. stew meat
12 carrots, cut up
6 c. celery
4 (No. 2) cans stewed tomatoes
8 tbsp. tapioca
2 c. soft bread crumbs
3 to 4 onions, chopped
12 potatoes, cut up

Put all ingredients in a pan which can be covered tightly and bake in a slow oven for 5 hours. Do not uncover until time is up.
