YUMMY CORNBREAD 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. yellow cornmeal
3 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 c. milk

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and beat. Add cornmeal, then dry ingredients alternating with milk. Pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes, or longer (1 hour).
