TAMALIE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. onions, chopped
1 c. green peppers, chopped

Cook and brown. Stir in:

2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) drained corn
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
Dash pepper

Simmer uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese, stir in until melted. Pour into greased baking dish.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. cold water

Cook and stir until thick. Add 1 tablespoon butter and mix. Spoon over casserole and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
