CHEF'S BOURBON HOT DOGS FLAMBE 
This ones a little more advanced, but worth it. Warning, don't burn the house down or your eyebrows off.

1 lb. all beef hot dogs, cut in chunks angled
1 tbsp. butter
1 small minced onion
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
pinch of pepper
1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/4 cup bourbon
1 shot (1 1/2 oz.) Southern Comfort (100 proof)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dusting dogs)

Lightly flour cut up hot dogs.

Heat butter in a large sauté pan, add onion and floured dogs. Brown em up a bit which adds great flavor. Add chicken stock. Add brown sugar, garlic powder, pepper and ketchup. Stir well.

Add Bourbon and one shot of Southern Comfort. Flambé but please, be careful. This is the most important part of this dish. Now reduce for 20-30 minutes or until your sauce reaches the consistency you like. Voila!
