CREAM CHEESE PASTRIES | |
2 c. butter, softened 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 4 c. flour Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until really soft and creamy. Gradually add the flour to the butter, cheese and sugar mixture, until the whole thing feels like a soft but firm ball, knead it a little on a flour board. Divide the ball into 4 separate balls or however size according to needs. Break off desired amount, roll into 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into small triangles and fill with various fillings. Nuts, preserves, prunes, poppy seeds, etc. Makes about 50 pastries with one small wad of dough. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. |
