CREAM CHEESE PASTRIES | |
2 tubes Pillsbury crescent rolls 3/4 c. sugar 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 egg yolk (save whites) 3 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. vanilla Lay out 1 package of rolls in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan and press together. Combine with electric mixer; sugar, cream cheese, egg yolks, lemon juice and vanilla. Spread over rolls layered in pan. Open second tube of rolls and press together on waxed paper. Lay on top of cheese mixture. Beat egg whites with fork. Spread on top. Layer of rolls. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. |
