CREAM CHEESE PASTRY SQUARES 
2 cans crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Separate egg. Set white aside. In a 9 x 13 inch pan, unroll 1 can crescent roll (do not separate). Mix together with electric mixer cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Spread over crescent rolls. Sprinkle with pecans. Cover with second can of crescent rolls. Beat egg white until foamy and brush over top of rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Glaze with mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
