ANGEL PIE 
4 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash salt

Bake in well greased pie pan 20 minutes at 275 degrees and 40 minutes at 300 degree oven.

CUSTARD:

1/2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
3 tbsp. lemon juice and grated rind

Cook until thick.

Beat 1 cup whipping cream. Add half to custard that has been cooled. Then spread rest of whipped cream on top.

Cool crust completely before adding cold custard mixture. Let stand several hours or overnight.
