Fudgy Fudge Brownies

This is easiest and tastiest brownie recipe I've ever made. I've been making these brownies for a few years now and it never fails. I prepare the dry ingredients and store away for when I want to make a quick batch. I let the batter sit for a while so that the granulated sugar melts a little better. Sometimes I mix in marshmallows. All the ingredient proportions are perfectly measured for my taste... This is a Tried-and-True brownie recipe!

I have been wanting to find a brownie recipe to make from scratch instead of making box mixes all the time. I had everything already in the cupboard for this recipe so I made them yesterday. I did double the cocoa and they turned out perfect! My husband commented that they were so much better than a box mix. I will definitely be using this recipe from now on. Thank You!!!!

I added more cocoa as I was making these, and then checked the reviews to see it was recommended by several people. These were great with the additional cocoa added to the mix. Very easy to make.

I actually kept the amount of cocoa, and added some butterscotch chips. It was gone before I even had the chance to taste more than half a bite of my boyfriend's piece. But, adding more cocoa, if you want it to be CHOCOLATEY, is definitely the way to go. ^^ Love these.

Brownies are awesome but wasn't thrilled about the icing on them. I tried it with chocolate whipped frosting & it was amazing

Best fudge brownies ever. I also double the cocoa and add half a bag of chocolate chips. What can I say? We like chocolate.

I've been baking for sometime and even sold brownies I've baked. This time I'll try using olive oil for a change. Thanks for your comments I'll take as a tip for more delicious, fudgy brownies.

Delish! I too added 1/4 cup cocoa. I also added tiny semi-sweet chocolate squares (like chocolate chips). I baked at 375°F in the convection oven 25 minutes, turned off oven and let it sit for five more minutes in oven. The brownies came out perfect. I also made the icing but added 1/3 cup of cocoa to it. All came out perfect and delicious!

I use this recipe all the time. Really, I am known for them with my friends and family. Don't worry, I say its from cooks.com. I keep kosher so I make them with margarine instead of butter. Also instead of nuts I use about 1/2 bag of chocolate chips. I use 1/2 cup of Cocoa instead of the 1/4 cup (I got that from reading these reviews). Thank you so much for sharing, this are awesome.

First time I tried this recipe. I did add half a bar of melted semisweet chocolate and a little more walnuts. In addition I left the brownies in for 30 minutes instead of 25. I also skipped the vanilla icing. Next time I will only add 1 and 1/4 cup of sugar. Overall the brownies came out moist and yummy! However a little too sweet for my taste.

The first time I made these, I followed the recipe exactly. They were tasty. Great brownie texture, but seemed to have a cookie taste to them (kind of like a chocolate chip cookie, without the chocolate chips). Not a lot of chocolate taste with the 1/4 cup of cocoa. I decided to try something a little bit different. I threw in an extra 1/4 cup of cocoa and a bag of milk chocolate chips, also cooked it for 5 extra minutes. They were fantastic! I'm DONE with box brownie :-) So glad I found this recipe!

They were the best and easiest brownies ever but did need some adjustments. I found that as others suggested it definitely needed more cocoa, also I decreased the sugar the second time around. The first time I prepared these the sugar seemed crystalized and crunchy after baking, so I now use only 1 and 1/4 to 1 and 1/2 cups sugar and we like them extra fudgy so I use 3/4 cup of cocoa also increased bake time approx. 5 min.

These were really good! Instead of only 1/4 cup of cocoa, I used 1/2 a cup. I skipped the icing all together and I broke a king size Hershey's bar and spread it evenly throughout the batter. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Made them with a little over a half up of extra dark Hershey's cocoa and doubled the vanilla. Also used 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup extra virgin dark and fruity olive oil, not for health but olive oil totally makes brownies better and you can't taste it at all. That's my secret ingredient! These were spectacular!
