SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 1/2 c. pecans, broken
1 unbaked pie shell

Blend eggs, butter, flour, vanilla, salt, and sugar together. Blend in syrup. Sprinkle pecans over bottom of pie shell. Gently pour in syrup mixture. Bake in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees, bake for 40 to 50 minutes longer.
