SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. pecans
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and butter. Add salt, eggs and pecans. Blend thoroughly. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until center is set.
