SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/4 c. pecan halves
Unbaked 8" pie shell

In small bowl, beat together sugar, corn syrup, salt, flour and eggs. Stir in vanilla, melted butter and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until set. Cool thoroughly before serving.
