TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. sour cream or buttermilk
2 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter until smooth; add sugar and cream. Add eggs and beat. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix with the egg mixture. Roll on floured board and cut into desired shapes and bake for 10 minutes in 375 degree oven. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
