JAIL HOUSE ROLLS | |
1 c. cooked mashed potatoes 2 sticks melted butter 3 whole eggs 7 c. plain flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water 1 pkg. yeast Mix yeast into warm water. Do not do this if using instant yeast. Add instant yeast to the dry ingredients. Mix all ingredients together. Then add yeast if not using instant yeast. Place in a well greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Place in a warm place to rise until double in size. Then pinch off desired amount needed. You can then refrigerate the remaining dough. These can be made and kept in refrigerator for several days. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure the mashed potatoes are cool before adding to dry ingredients. |
