TURTLE CAKE 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
2 c. milk chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In saucepan combine caramels, evaporated milk and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until caramels are melted.

Prepare cake mix according to directions on package. Spoon half of batter into greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. Pour melted caramel mixture on top of cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon remaining batter over all. Bake cake 30 minutes longer. Let cool completely in pan.
