RICE CUSTARD PUDDING | |
2/3 c. rice 1 qt. milk 4 eggs 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. raisins 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Cook rice in salted water until soft. Pour cold water over it and drain. Put into buttered dish. Beat eggs lightly. Add sugar, milk and vanilla. Sprinkle raisins over rice. Pour egg mixture over rice. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 325 degrees until custard is set and top is light brown, about 1 hour. |
