Bless you for this recipe. I work in a shelter and we don't always have all the ingredients to bake, well anything really.

Thank you for this recipe, I did not have any eggs and was looking for a cookie that I could make with the ingredients I had, I added some coconut to the mixture and it is so good. Thanks again

Fleschman's unsalted margarine is dairy free as well is Willow Run and having used the Fleschman's last year with this recipre it tasted EXACTLY like "regular" sugar cookie dough and it was safe for my son!!! Even my highly critical daughter's liked them!

Made these last night, and LOVE them! I added in a little vanilla and after they settled from the oven, splattered some powdered sugar icing (red and green) all over them. Everyone adores these cookies, best I've ever had!

 Pam (New Jersey) says:
I cut the recipe in half, used part butter and part a good quality margarine and they came out fine. Don't roll the balls too big because they spread out. A GOOD QUICK COOKIE.

 Kristina (United States) says:
Made this today... do not use this for cut outs because mine turned into a pool of crispy cookies. I then did as the recipe called for and rolled them into balls to bake. That worked better and they do stay flatter than the normal cookies I make. I think I will use less butter next time. Tastes fine!

We should all start raising chickens....I was out of eggs too! I always have eggs...cookies are in the oven and they smell great and I know they will taste the same. Thanks for saving the day...so many little ones would have been disappointed!

Thank you so much, my 8 year old nephew is highly allergic to eggs & never gets to eat cookies or cakes due to eggs. This Christmas he can be a part of cutting out the sugar cookies as well he will be able to enjoy them!
