IVA'S TWELVE EGG SUGAR COOKIES 
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups shortening
12 egg yolks (reserve whites for an Angel Cake!)
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugars and shortening together well. Beat in egg yolks and lemon flavoring. Add flour, salt and baking soda. Chill dough in refrigerator.

Form into small balls and roll in additional sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet and press flat with bottom of glass.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Makes about 6 dozen.
