Out of desperation (12°F, snow, and no eggs) I looked for a no egg cookie, and Voila!!! We just made these tonight and they are delicious. The kids cooked a batch tonight and will cook the rest tomorrow.
Since my cupboard was low, I used 8 oz margarine and 8oz cream cheese. The cookies were moist and melt in your mouth good!

Do not spray cookie sheet or they come out as thin crackers.

Very yummy, but had to add extra flour...too sweet/buttery. Perfect with an extra 1/2 cup flour :)

I love these cookies, they kinda remind me of corn bread. I don't know about you but to me they do!

Thanks for the recipe!! My boyfriend and I are low on funds so dessert hasn't been made in quite some time. This helped also because I don't like eggs! Great recipe, quick clean up, couldn't ask for more!!

Great turnout. I too had no eggs. Didn't have much stuff laying around and thought I might have enough for sugar cookies. Very glad I tried it. It was short & sweet, just perfect for my attention span. Got a rave review from a non sugar cookie fan.

Thanks for this recipe! I just got back from town (about 30 mins away) and realized I forgot eggs. I promised the kids cookies tonight, now they will get them!

They definitely taste different and look a bit flatter. But they were a perfect tasty sweet for while we are snowed in by Boston's Blizzard 2013 with no eggs.

Absolutely great! I'm a young housewife and husband is at work with the car and no stores are close! I cut this recipe in half and comped half a cup of pancake batter because I have no baking powder or soda, also I added about a tablespoon of fireball cinnamon whiskey for flavor since I'm out of cinnamon too, I KNOW lol we just moved in, and it was perfect! the dough itself is delicious too heehee
