MEXICAN WEDDING CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple and juice
1 c. maraschino cherries, drained

Mix ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes in greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter

Combine all ingredients and spread on cooled cake.
