OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. molasses
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 400°F. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses thoroughly. Measure flour. Stir dry ingredients together; blend in. Stir in oats, nuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2-inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Makes six dozen cookies.
