BANANA OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3)
1 3/4 c. rolled oats (quick)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar

Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Cut in shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until thoroughly blended. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Drop by tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until done.
