CHESS PIE 
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Whipped cream

Cook together the first 7 ingredients over medium heat, stirring until thick. Cool. Before serving, stir in the nut and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell or tart shells. Serve with whipped cream.
