BROWN BREAD MADE EASY 
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 c. water plus 1 box raisins

Simmer water and raisins for 20 minutes then add 3 tablespoons butter to melt.

1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking soda
2 beaten eggs

After water and raisin mixture cools add baking soda, then the eggs followed by the dry ingredients. Put in 2 or 3 tins depending in sizes and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Can also be made in several empty cans. Don't forget to grease tins.
