CARAMEL CUPS 
Crust:

6 oz. cream cheese
2 sticks butter (1 Cup)
2 cup flour

Caramel Sauce:

1 lb. caramels
1/2 cup milk

Icing:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crisco
2 oz. cream cheese
2/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cut crust ingredients like pastry. Press into tassie pans and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Then cool.

Melt caramels and milk in double boiler. Then fill tassie cups with caramel sauce about 3/4 full.

Mix butter, crisco and cream cheese. Let stand. Mix sugar, milk and vanilla. Let stand 20 minutes. Mix all together and beat until fluffy. Spread over caramel sauce and sprinkle with a few crushed walnuts (optional).
