CINNAMON-BUTTERMILK COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. plain flour
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter (softened)
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. pecan pieces
1 egg
1/3 c. flour

Combine 2 cups of flour and the brown sugar. Cut in butter. Set aside 3/4 cup of the mixture. Combine the rest of the flour and sugar mixture with the 1/3 cup flour. Add the egg, buttermilk, soda and cinnamon and stir. Pout batter into a greased 9 inch square pan.

Combine reserved crumb mixture with the nuts and sprinkle over the top of the batter. Bake in a 325 oven about 1 hour.
