CINNAMON FLOP OR MORAVIAN COFFEE CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 beaten egg 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk 1 c. brown sugar 4 tbsp. butter Cinnamon Cream together 1 1/2 cups sugar with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Add beaten egg. Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with milk to sugar and butter mixture. Spread evenly in greased 8"x8" pan. Cover with brown sugar and dot with 4 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees. Serve warm. |
