FROZEN CHOCOLATE SUNDAY DESSERT 
1/2 c. melted butter
1 lb. crushed Oreo cookies
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla or cherry nut)
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar

Mix crushed cookies and 1/2 cup melted butter. Pat 1/2 mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan. Chill 1/2 hour. Cook butter, sugar, milk, and chips until thick, 8-10 minutes. Cut up 1/2 gallon ice cream. Put on top of crumbs. Sprinkle rest of crumbs over ice cream. Pour chocolate mixture over crumbs. Serve with 1 cup Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Keeps frozen a long time.
