JEWISH COFFEE CAKE | |
3/4 cube butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. buttermilk or yogurt 1/3 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped nuts 1/2 pkg. chocolate chips Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Add flour, soda, baking powder and salt and mix. Mix buttermilk and vanilla together and then add to mixture. In separate bowl, combine brown sugar, 1/4 cup white sugar, cinnamon, walnuts, and chocolate chips. In greased bundt pan, or sheet cake pan, put half the first batter. Sprinkle topping mix on batter. Add remaining batter and sprinkle on remaining topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. |
