BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
12 slices bread, buttered
12 slices American cheese
Bacon, cubed ham or Canadian bacon
9 eggs
1 tsp. salt (go easy on salt because of ham and bacon)
Pepper to taste
2 1/4 c. milk

(Casserole must be made the night before serving). Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Lay 6 slices of bread in bottom. Lay a slice of cheese on each piece of bread. Sprinkle generously with the bacon or ham. Add 6 more slices of bread and 6 more slices of American cheese. Beat together: eggs, salt, pepper and milk. Pour over bread and refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hour or until done at 300 degrees.
