MEAT BALLS | |
Meatballs: 2 lb. ground beef 2 eggs 1 c. bread crumbs 1 sm. onion (chopped fine) 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Sauce: 1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice Mix all the above ingredients well and form into meatballs. Brown the meatballs in a skillet until brown on all sides. Transfer to a crockpot. Mix sauce and pour over meatballs. Simmer slowly until thoroughly cooked. (A double recipe will fill a 4 quart crock pot). |
