LEMON PUDDING DESSERT | |
1 stick butter, melted 1 c. flour 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 c. chopped nuts Mix above and press evenly in 8x12 pan. Bake 10-15 minutes at 325 degrees. Mix and whip 8 ounce package cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar. When 1st layer cools, spread cheese mixture on it and refrigerate 1/2 hour or more. Mix 2 packages instant lemon pudding and 3 cups cold milk and follow directions on box. (This is one cup less than box directions.) Pour over cooled cheese layer and let set in refrigerator. Top with layer of whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped nuts. (I use Cool Whip.) Serves 12. |
